Position Overview
The Planner will be responsible for supporting the Summer Earn and Learn initiative, a program aimed at providing employment opportunities to youth with disabilities. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative individual who can manage data, facilitate communication across various stakeholders, and ensure smooth program operations. The Planner will be a critical liaison between workforce solutions, vocational rehabilitation, student participants, their guardians, and other team members, while also contributing to process improvements and compliance.
What will I be doing?
- Youth Portal Management : Oversee the youth portal, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Data Management & Reporting : Run reports, analyze data, and track program metrics to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Use data to propose and implement process improvements and strategies.
- Stakeholder Liaison : Serve as the point of contact between Workforce Solutions, Vocational Rehabilitation services, student participants, and their guardians. Address concerns, provide updates, and communicate important information to all parties involved.
- Process and Workflow Management : Manage program processes, ensuring tasks are completed within timelines. Oversee workflows to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Meeting Coordination & Minute-Taking : Schedule, coordinate, and prepare for program meetings. Take detailed minutes and ensure accurate documentation of action items and decisions made.
- Problem Solving & Communication : Identify challenges within the program and work with the leadership team to develop solutions. Communicate program challenges and potential solutions to leadership for review and action.
- Desk Aid Updates : Maintain and update desk aids to ensure they reflect current procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
- Compliance & Deadline Management : Ensure all program activities comply with relevant deadlines, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Monitor program compliance and provide reminders as necessary.
