What will I be doing?
- Supporting the Chief Outreach and Government Affairs Officer with the development and implementation of programs, projects, and services to address regional priorities and strengthen organizational resources. These projects include Broadband, Housing, Healthcare, and other activities that may fall outside of H-GAC’s current offerings.
- Identifying and securing grant funding aimed at addressing unmet regional needs, particularly related to Broadband, Housing, Healthcare, and other agency priorities.
- Researching examples of successful implementation projects related to Broadband, Housing, and Healthcare for potential pilot projects in the H-GAC region.
- Exploring the needs of local member governments and assisting with execution of events and meetings designed to further the implementation of Broadband, Housing, Healthcare, and other agency initiatives.
- Supporting the Outreach and Government Affairs department with additional needs in advancement of H-GAC programs and services.
