(Chicago/Hybrid) The Mobile Marketing Associate will be responsible for providing support and a collaborative mindset while working on mobile marketing and fundraising campaigns using channels such as SMS, MMS, and P2P Texting. The Mobile Marketing Associate will work in conjunction with the digital marketing and fundraising team to assist with ongoing marketing and fundraising initiatives aimed at cultivating, retaining, and acquiring new donors to achieve The Fellowships' annual fundraising goals. This position reports directly to the Email Marketing Manager and is based in our downtown Chicago headquarters.
We are seeking an individual with Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience. Preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related disciplines. Minium of 1-3 years of experience working in digital or mobile advertising and marketing environment. Experience collaborating with external vendors and/or strategic partners. Experience in facilitating the mobile or digital creative development and implementation process. Understanding of successful donor lead generation, engagement and conversion tactics. Experience in executing or supporting mobile/digital marketing and fundraising campaigns a plus.
Essential responsibilities include:
Mobile Marketing Campaigns:
- Establish and maintain the monthly mobile marketing and fundraising campaign schedule/calendar that outlines and documents all mobile campaign initiatives and testing plans to support ongoing mobile campaign optimizations and continuous improvements.
- Create mobile campaign briefs for all mobile marketing and fundraising initiatives.
- Collaborate with other IFCJ fundraising channel owners to identify and support the growth, expansion, and implementation of cross-channel marketing and fundraising campaigns to expand and enhance the Fellowship’s overall digital marketplace presence.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Work with internal and external analytics resources to conduct analysis of all mobile marketing and fundraising campaigns to assess their effectiveness and generate optimizations for future mobile campaign strategies.
- Provide monthly analytics and fundraising reports.
Project Management:
- Manage the implementation of all mobile marketing and fundraising campaigns utilizing proven project management processes to ensure all strategies and tactics are implemented on time and on budget.
Administrative Support:
- Ensure proper data tracking, programming, and fulfillment is in place by creating motivation and project codes.
- Develop, maintain and follow The Fellowship’s standard procedures for text and mobile channels.
Technical & Individual Skills:
- Digital and or Mobile advertising strategies and tactics
- Understanding of mobile user behavior
- Campaign management on various mobile channels such as SMS, MMS and P2P
- Analytical thinking and proficiency in digital/mobile marketing tools
- Mobile-focused creative development
- Excellent communication skills and basic understanding of target audiences’ segmentation through mobile devices effectively.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and user segmentation techniques
- Experience with digital/ mobile data analysis and reporting.
- Creative thinking and ability to design engaging mobile marketing content.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
