This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the creation of high-quality digital content. As a Library Media Specialist, you will work closely with other departments to develop stories, ideas, and content for various media outlets.
You will also assist with monthly inventory counts, cross-train on inventory management processes, and support the Development team with online auctions.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the library database, including data integrity, backup procedures, and user access controls.
- Developing and enforcing naming conventions and metadata standards.
- Scanning, cataloging, tagging, and maintaining metadata for digital assets.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Public Relations.
- A Master's degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with database platforms.
- Experience in writing, researching, and editing.
- A strong eye for design and visual communication.
