Position Overview:
We are seeking responsible and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Gate Monitors. This role is essential in ensuring the safety of our campers, their families, and our staff by managing the entry and exit of employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Track and verify scheduled work and visiting times for employees and visitors
- Monitor and control access to campgrounds, ensuring all arrivals and departures are authorized
- Respond quickly, calmly, and appropriately to any security concerns, notifying management in a professional manner
- Maintain clear and accurate records of entry logs
- Uphold IGC’s commitment to a safe and welcoming environment
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant at all times
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
- Must pass all local, state, federal, and child abuse clearances
