The Need After almost 25 years of continued growth and operational success in pioneering the work of protecting those who are experiencing poverty from violence, IJM has become a $100 million organization. As IJM continues this trajectory of growth and scaling of its impact, with the Vision to protect 500 million people by the year 2030, IJM’s midlevel donor team is seeking to add an excellent sales/fundraising leader to provide direct management to a world-class team of midlevel donor fundraisers. Working closely with the Vice President of Integrated Fundraising, the Sr. Managers of Partner Engagement will provide direct management, support and leadership to a team of 8 mid-level donor fundraisers. The Sr. Manager will further develop this team of exceptional fundraising leaders and support the Vice President in driving on integrated fundraising strategies to achieve breakthrough revenue growth. The Sr. Manager will also partner closely with the Vice President in working with the Manager of Operations and the team they lead to ensure an integrated donor experience and strategy across the mass, mid and major donor pipeline. This individual will manage a small portfolio of mid-level donors and focus on providing deep 1:1 support to fundraising leaders with full portfolios. This individual will contribute to the development of donor acquisition, conversion, cultivation, growth and retention strategies, designed to elevate donor engagement and revenue. Ultimately, your success in this role will lead to more children, women and men being freed from violence and protected in their communities. This position may be based in the Washington DC area or may be remote (with preference to key markets including Northern or Southern California, Dallas, New York City, Seattle or Chicago) and reports to the Vice President, Integrated Fundraising. Responsibilities: Effectively manage Directors of Partner Engagement to achieve revenue goals and retain our top talent through personal support and professional development. Partner closely with the Vice President in working with the Manager of Operations and the team they lead to ensure an integrated donor experience and strategy across the mass, mid and major donor pipeline. Provide agile leadership that actively contributes to a collaborative, joyful, innovative team culture. Manage a small portfolio of mid-level donors giving $1,000-10,000 or more annually. Contribute to exponential growth in midlevel donor revenue across the Partner Engagement team through the development and execution of fundraising strategies. Work with the Vice President, Integrated Fundraising to set revenue growth goals and develop related strategies and KPIs. Requirements: 5 years of sales or fundraising leadership and management experience. 10 years of proven experience delivering revenue results in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated experience working closely with high net-worth people. A proven track record of developing and executing strategies that generate more than $1MM annually. Effectiveness as influencer and collaborator on cross-functional teams. Track record of effective management Bachelor’s degree required. Extensive experience with sales and/or fundraising management and leadership. Proven ability to effectively develop, nurture and maintain individual relationships and the skill to lead those individuals to make joyful financial investments. Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills. Experience managing, tracking and reporting on progress toward new donor and revenue goals. Highly developed capacity to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of programs accurately and objectively and to make appropriate adjustments. Salesforce experience preferred.
