Job Summary:
This is a clerical position responsible for providing reception and administrative assistance to the campus office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in keyboarding and bilingual Spanish language skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive and direct incoming calls, take messages, and route to appropriate staff members.
- Greet and direct campus visitors, representing the institution in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Ensure campus safety by utilizing Raptor, visitor logs, and passes.
- Assist parents with student check-in and check-out procedures.
- Process and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries.
Clerical Duties:
- Provide backup support for attendance clerk duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Compile, maintain, and file reports, records, and documents as required.
- Perform various front-office tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous clerical experience in an office setting.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged sitting and occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
- Frequent keyboarding and mouse use.
- Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
