Embroidery Machine Operator

International Minute Press is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about craftsmanship and who thrives in a hands-on work environment. You will be integral in creating custom apparel, managing orders, and ensuring the highest quality of embroidered goods for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Embroidery Production: Operate embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered apparel, following specific design and placement instructions.
• Apparel Ordering: Manage the ordering process for apparel and materials, ensuring accurate fulfillment of client requests.
• Design Proofing: Work closely with clients and our design team to proof and approve designs before production, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.
• Heat Pressing: Apply Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers and patches onto apparel using heat press technology, maintaining quality and durability.
• Quality Checks: Conduct detailed quality checks throughout the production process to guarantee that all products meet our standards and client expectations.
• Client Interaction: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding their orders, design proofs, and any updates or changes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep embroidery and heat press equipment in excellent condition, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Material Handling: Manage inventory of threads, apparel, and other supplies, monitoring stock levels and ordering as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with embroidery machines is required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and adapt to changing production schedules.
• Good physical condition, able to stand for extended periods and handle materials.
• Basic computer skills for design proofing and order management.
