Position Overview
International is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a being a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions and is strongly committed in evolving its digital capabilities and ecosystem.
Digitalization of the Commercial Operations experience is part of the digital ecosystem which will be supporting International, its network of dealers and customers in the upcoming years.
We have a great opportunity within Commercial Operations for a Product Owner of the Dealer Sales Experience.
The Product Owner will work at the intersection of technology, business, and customer needs, taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle. This role involves defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the configure, quote and order process.
This position is a hybrid role base in our Lisle, Illinois headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define and communicate the product vision for the Dealer Commercial Sales experience.
- Build a product roadmap and backlog to support ecosystem strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders ( dealers, sales, marketing, engineering, service, production, used truck and finance) to build a product roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Build and environment that will support future lead integration, order management, and all aspects of a solution deal creation.
- Backlog Management & Prioritization:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization of features based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure timely delivery of product features.
- Customer-Centric Approach:
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve the product.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the product meets the needs of International stakeholders and Dealers.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, including UX/UI, development, and data science teams, ensuring alignment and seamless execution.
- Work with marketing and sales to create go-to-market strategies and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
- Data & Analytics:
- Track and analyze product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance product effectiveness and value.
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that the product complies security guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 year of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience
OR
- Master's degree
OR
- At least 3 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
