Senior Accountant

Position Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play an important role in our dynamic team, reporting directly to the General Accounting Manager and driving key finance and accounting functions at the Accounting Center. You’ll dive into a variety of day-to-day tasks, while also taking charge of important month-end close responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our IBM partner in Bangalore, India, supporting essential functions and contributing to the success of our global operations. Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks including journal entries, related reports, and account reconciliations
• Create and/or review desk procedures
• Support Sales Tax filing activities
• Complete special projects as needed
• Prepare ad hoc analysis as required
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 1 year of accounting experience

OR

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA
• At least 1 year of accounting experience

OR

• Master’s degree in Accounting

OR

• Master’s degree and CPA

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• Knowledgeable with MS Excel, including pivot tables and other advanced Excel functions
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Ability to think through problems and recommend solutions
• Knowledge of SAP ERP
