Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Specialist at IPPL. The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring operational efficiency at the sanctuary in Summerville, SC.
Qualifications
- Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Troubleshooting skills
- Basic plumbing, electrical, paint, carpentry and welding skills a plus
- Experience in preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
