International Recovery Systems Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Team Lead to oversee daily operations within the logistics department. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills. This hands-on role focuses on managing transport operations, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Key Customer Service Representative and Transports department.
- Develop efficient, cost-effective transport runs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of assets to assigned auctions while meeting delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records using various digital platforms. Maintain a monthly average of at least 45% for keys cut vs. repossessions and deliveries vs. repossessions.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve transport delays exceeding 10 days.
- Handle escalated cases or accounts as needed, providing solutions and guidance.
- Support the key quoting process and other as needed client requests.
- Deliver detailed weekly on-lot reports to clients, auctions, and the VP of Operations.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental goals.
- Conduct regular account audits to ensure compliance and correct any discrepancies.
- Ensure all paperwork is submitted in accordance with regulations.
- Proactively monitor and address safety and compliance issues related to FMCSA and DOT guidelines.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations, and safety best practices.
- Experience in eLog systems and compliance tracking tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with team members, clients, and senior management.
- Ability to travel if needed.
- Class B or A CDL is preferred but not required.
