Music School Administrative Coordinator

International School of Music is seeking a dependable and personable Program Coordinator to join our team. This individual will work passionately to support and inspire our community members, fostering a love for the arts through music instruction.The successful candidate will provide superior customer service to our base of regular music students and will take an active role in increasing its reach within the Washington DC metropolitan area. We are particularly interested in a candidate with management potential who will work to create growth with an expectation of long-term commitment and future rewards.

Primary Responsibilities : Coordinate and maintain instructors' schedule and lessons, including student-teacher matchups, scheduling, and registrations.Oversee our database to include reporting, attendance, and student recordsOrganize and host semi-annual recitals and other community performances.Perform accurate data-entry into web-based databaseHandle client walk-in inquiries, phone calls, emails

Qualifications : Excellent people skills, positive attitude & strong work ethicDetailed oriented under pressure and tight deadlinesStrong organizational skills, and a commitment to follow through with tasksPunctuality, ability to multitask well & ability to handle fast paced work environmentWillingness to work as a team playerA continuous desire for personal improvementSolid computer skills, including typing, email, use of database systems, web navigation, and MS OfficeA minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Full time position hours : Mon, Tue, Wed 12 : 10pm—9pm, Sat 8 : 45am—4 : 15pm, Sun 9 : 45am—6 : 15pm

Compensation : Commensurate with the experience ($40,0000 to $45,0000), plus bonuses.Benefits : 13 PTO days plus 6 holidays, health, vision, and dental insurance benefits, and 401k
