ISCs team of Hospitality Recruiters is partnering with a leading and highly ranked Hotel and Golf Club on a Sales Manager opportunity in the sunny Monterey Peninsula.

This is a fantastic position for a driven and passionate sales manager, from the hotelier or tourism space, to take on a Hunter/New Business Development role supporting the thriving Sales & Marketing team at a highly prestigious hotel. The Sales Manager will have the opportunity to curate/implement strategic sales plans and oversee all aspects of account development, while cultivating client relationships to foment revenue within all facets of the property.

Sales Manager Requirements- To qualify, you should have the following:

3 years relevant Hunter/New Business Development sales experience in a relevant industry (tourism and/or hospitality, etc.)

1 year of Sales Management experience with at least 1 direct report

Outstanding communication, polish and interpersonal skills

Proven track record of high sales activity targeting similar clientele

Knowledge of Star Reporting Analysis and Golf/Country club sales, a plus

Sales Manager Responsibilities- The duties for the role are as follows:

Oversee all aspects of account development, including sales presentations, site inspections, client entertainment, and sales trips as needed

Foster client relationships by conducting property tours and maintaining regular communication before/after events to ensure overall success

Create/implement sales action plans targeting key segments such as group/FIT sales, set activity targets (sales calls, etc.), and provide weekly activity summaries for review by the Director of Sales and Marketing

Monitor direct report (Sales Coordinator) for effectiveness in adhering to overall business plan
