Job Description
This position is still at the proposal stage and is awaiting award.
This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below:
International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Echo Sonographer. The Echo Sonographer is responsible to operate ultrasound equipment to create images of patients' internal structures, enabling the assessment and diagnosis of various medical conditions. They work closely with physicians to provide high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out medical cardiology functions with certified Medical Echo Sonographer.
- Perform, in conjunction with the Contractor’s Echo sonographer, treatment planning for performing Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies.
- Perform calculation methods for the delivery of prescribed dose, and subsequent documentation in patient files, and verification of the mathematical accuracy of all calculations.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Accredited by the National Certification from ARDMS and/or CCI guidelines that are set forth by ARDMS.
- ECHO Sonographers are registered by RDCS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Education Required:
Graduate from a qualifying educational program from an accredited college University Hospital, medical school or post-secondary technical or vocational school. Program must have been accredited at the time of education or training by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals or by the American Osteopathic Association.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
- Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
Compensation | Min: $86K Max: $115K
