About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Estimator or Estimator/Project Manager who wants to manage the full project lifecycle from estimating to completion. If you thrive in an environment where you’re given autonomy, responsibility, and the ability to directly impact your earnings, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and manage interior electrical projects ($1M–$2M range).
- Own the full project lifecycle, including purchase orders, budgeting, negotiations, and coordination.
- Project Managers must be able to estimate too, or if you're just an estimator that's fine too
- Work closely with superintendents and field teams—no direct people management required.
- Build relationships with GCs and clients to drive repeat business.
- Anticipate project needs and manage issues before they arise.
- You don't need to manage people, just your projects
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in interior electrical projects
- Background in electrical construction—whether from the field (electrician), estimating, or college.
- Proficiency in Accubid (or Excel) for estimating.
- Strong ability to forecast project progress and proactively manage potential issues.
- A self-starter who takes full responsibility for project success—not someone who needs daily oversight.
- Existing client relationships are a bonus, but not required.
