What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clubhouse Attendant position at International Village Lombard?
We are looking for a friendly and reliable person to help out at our Clubhouse front desk. We are looking for someone who can work 3 shifts per week (Fridays required), 2pm-9pm. This position is part time.
Job Description:
Observe Clubhouse and amenities and enforce current lease agreement and welcome home packet policies and procedures. Always exhibit best customer service practices.
Perform all daily assigned opening/closing task as outlined by the Clubhouse Manager
Ensure all Clubhouse facilities are operational, including but not limited to pool mechanicals, exercise equipment, televisions, game tables, lighting, wireless internet, and fireplaces.
Inform the Clubhouse Manager if supplies need to be ordered.
Log all packages that are dropped off for residents and maintain accuracy. Check for Club ID for each package picked up by residents and have resident initial that the package was received.
Check for Club ID cards for every individual that enters the clubhouse to ensure residency, as well enforce the policies regarding the number of guests allowed. Ensure all individuals entering the clubhouse sign in. Check out game supplies, court usage, and exercise equipment as needed.
Ensure all pool rules are posted and regulations are being followed.
Guide residents who are interested in renting out the social room to Recreation Director. Gathering accurate information to provide the director.
Monitor cleanliness of the Clubhouse interior and report any issues to the cleaning vendor or the Property Manager.
Assist with removing debris and garbage from the clubhouse exterior and outdoor amenities.
Report any issues or hazards on the property to your supervisor or the Property Manager immediately.
Work as a team with your co-workers to assure the overall building quality and maintain team moral as required. Assist the leasing office staff when requested' complete all other projects in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School diploma, or general education degree (GED) required.
Ability to identify and meet resident’s requirements and expectations. Searches for ways to
increase resident/customer satisfaction. Treats residents and prospects with respect and sense of urgency.
Ability to make and implement decisions under conditions of risk and/or uncertainty.
Must be able to work independently and demonstrate good business judgment in a variety of situations.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
