International Wines and Craft Beer, based in Alabaster, Alabama, is seeking candidates for a Sales Representative in the Birmingham Metro area. This is a full-time, commission-based position with bonus potential.

- Service accounts within a defined area
- Meet or exceed departmental sales goals and program objectives
- Submit orders via iPad/Pocket Advantage daily
- Build and maintain strong account relationships
- Attend promotional events, tastings, and trade shows
- Travel to Alabaster twice a month
- Merchandise orders after they are delivered
- Well-developed sales skills including closing, prospecting, negotiation, and territory management
- Ability to survey the local landscape for business opportunities, travel to customer locations for face-to-face contact, and develop relationships quickly
- A willingness to learn and be trained on brands and selling techniques
- Superior organizational skills
- High-self motivation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous sales experience or grocery industry experience preferred but not required
- Wine and craft beer knowledge preferred but not required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Have reliable transportation
- A drug screen, background and DMV/Driving Record check is required
- Position is commission-based sales with additional goal compensation
- Primary hours are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm; occasional weekends/nights required
