The Manager, Inventory Management is responsible for overseeing and improving inventory management processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role identifies and analyzes gaps in inventory procedures, resolves related issues, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless operations
This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory accuracy by reconciling inventory transactions at the location level, maintaining accurate reporting of on-hand inventory
- Collaborate with domestic and international warehouse and filler management teams to address and resolve inventory-related issues
- Communicate with the Material and Supply Planning Departments regarding new items, location changes, inventory counts, and other relevant updates
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations at assigned locations
- Manage and review inventory obsolescence to minimize or optimize stock levels
- Perform daily inventory analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies and address operational challenges
- Execute inventory adjustments as required
- Monitor and drive the achievement of inventory management milestones and goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of experience within inventory management and supply chain
- Prior working experience within the Beauty or CPG industry highly preferred
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of inventory policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience with with ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Expertise in data analytics, with a focus on inventory data analysis and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with others
