Reports to the (Facility / Operations) Manager. The Shift Leader is directly responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations for an assigned shift. The Shift Leader assists the location Manager in providing an experienced and trained staff. Ensures customers and landlords are provided with the highest level of service on their shift. Assists the Facility and / or Operations Manager in maintaining established revenue controls and accountability systems.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assists the Facility and / or Operations Manager in the supervision and evaluation of employee performance, including participation in coaching and discipline where applicable.
- Provides training and support to other hourly staff on procedures related to job responsibilities and may assist employees in their jobs as needed in cashier, driver, parking lot attendant, dispatcher and light maintenance functions.
- Sets standards for staff by appropriately modeling company policies and norms.
- Channels requests and requirements of location's landlord to appropriate decision-maker.
- Coordinates daily activities with his or her manager and transitions responsibilities between shifts.
- Serves as the point person for all customer service inquiries, complaints, incident reports and claims for the shift.
- Ensures facility and employee appearance meets company standards on assigned shift.
