Intern, Marketing - Healthcare

POSITION SUMMARY:

You’ll support in the design and execution of our IPG corporate healthcare and agency marketing and new business materials—creating visually appealing presentations (PowerPoint), social and digital content, working closely with our IPG Corporate Healthcare group to synchronize information from our cross-functional agency teams around the world.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage intake, creation and execution of content that showcases our companies’ credentials and highlights their capabilities in a clear and effective way
• Provide coordination, editing and proofing support for PowerPoint presentations—maintaining brand identity standards, visual consistency and timely content updates
• Support client reporting deliverables such as quarterly agency financials, case studies, and savings reports
• Support management of social media channels—from copywriting and design to community management and analytics—for IPG’s healthcare communications network
• Update existing and design new presentations, new business resources and branded assets/templates for campaigns
• Track and manage day-to-day content updates to the Health & Wellness at Interpublic website (e.g., replacing older logos with new ones)
  
  
  

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High level of attention to detail and well organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with creating social media content and building a brand’s digital presence
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excel – build spreadsheets utilizing basic functions (e.g., pivot tables, filtering, sorting); consolidate data manually from multiple sources, QC, and create tables and charts for reports
• PowerPoint – create presentations integrating content from multiple sources; design custom slides as needed which integrate dense content such as multiple charts and tables
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills—working with cross-functional teams around the world
• Interest in learning more about the global creative marketing services and/or the health and wellness industries (pharmaceuticals, consumer health)
• Ability to resolve issues and conflicts with a logical and sustainable approach
  
  

NYC SALARY RANGE:

The hourly range for this position is $17 to $19. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
