About the Role:

We are seeking a customer-focused and tech-savvy individual to join our Epic Support Team as a Help Desk Representative. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clinical and administrative staff needing assistance with the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the healthcare IT field and grow into more advanced Epic or IT roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to calls, chats, and emails from healthcare providers and staff regarding Epic system issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting, including login support, password resets, and workflow guidance.
  • Log incidents and service requests accurately using a ticketing system.
  • Use scripts and knowledge articles to assist with common Epic workflows (e.g., charting, documentation, scheduling).
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Tier 2 support or Epic analysts.
  • Maintain professionalism, empathy, and efficiency during each interaction.
  • Stay informed about Epic system updates and organizational changes in workflow.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • IT help desk for Epic EMR based client.
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Familiarity with Epic software is a plus but not required (training provided).

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting Epic EHR systems.
  • Epic credentials (e.g., Epic Proficiency Badge).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
