Position Overview:
The Agile Project Manager will lead Agile software development initiatives, ensuring project objectives align with stakeholder expectations and Agile best practices. The role requires expertise in Agile methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Develop project roadmaps, manage sprint planning, and track progress.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT policies, including security and data governance.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of IT project management experience, with 5 years in Agile environments.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.).
