About This Position
The Manager, Facilities will drive Intersect Power’s workplace strategy, initially focusing on launching best-in-class offices in San Francisco and Austin. This role oversees all office operations, including leasing, vendor management, co-working spaces, office expansions, and employee support. Reporting to the VP of People and External Affairs, this role will collaborate across HR, IT, Finance, and Leadership to create a seamless, culturally-aligned and productive work environment that enhances the employee experience.
This position is based in our downtown San Francisco (Financial District) office and requires daily on-site work.
\n- Manage office operations across headquarters, regional offices, and co-working spaces.
- Negotiate leases and vendor contracts to optimize costs and terms.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for the San Francisco office.
- Oversee office transitions, including openings, expansions, and closures.
- Maintain an asset management system for office equipment and furniture.
- Develop and enforce workplace policies ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR to plan and execute company programs, events and meetings held at office locations, coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and ensuring successful execution.
- Manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and optimizing resources.
- Implement technological and innovative workplace solutions to enhance operations and employee experience.
- 5 years of facilities management experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Proven ability to scale workplace strategies in a high-growth setting.
- Experience with office design, build-outs, and IT troubleshooting.
- Strong project management, negotiation, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and sustainability best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Mostly sedentary work; using standard office equipment including: a computer, keyboard, and telephone and regular electronic and video communication.
- This position is based in our downtown San Francisco (Financial District) office and requires daily on-site work, as well as travel 4x per year travel for company-wide meetups across US & Canada and regional meetings as needed by department.
- Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 USD base salary with 25-30% annual target bonus
