This rapidly growing company seeks enthusiastic and reliable Maintenance Technician to work in one of our client’s sites. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, yet also be a team player.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Perform general maintenance repairs such as basic carpentry repairs, floor repairs, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, painting and spackling repairs, lamp and ballast replacement, etc.
- Perform duties requiring physical labor; correction of emergency conditions such as sewer back-ups or water flooding; regular removal of debris throughout the grounds to ensure a neat well-kept appearance, and other related tasks.
- Respond to tenant request and complaints concerning HVAC, burned out lights, leaks, etc.
- Log all complaints in Maintenance Request Log and "closeout" the request by filling in the date the problem was corrected.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Conduct regular physical inspections of the building; record all items requiring maintenance.
- Complete the required maintenance tasks or notify the Property Manager of Items that are beyond your level of expertise and assist Property Manager in arranging for repair by an appropriate contractor.
- Establish and maintain an inventory of various parts and supplies.
- Supervise work performed by outside maintenance contractors and assist them as required.

Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs. independently and ability to bend.
- Available to respond to emergencies 24-hours per day, 7- days per week basis.
- Excellent time management skills.
Candidate must have reliable transportation, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and be able to pass a background check.
