Job Overview :
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Vice President is responsible for leadership and oversight of I-State Truck’s overall business. This role provides the vision and strategic direction for the I-State Truck, developing strong relationships with our valued partners, promoting an environment of continuous improvement and driving towards exceptional performance.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Lead the strategic planning process for I-State Truck, providing direction and executive leadership. Participate in business planning with company executive management, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of customer focus, and competitive position.
- Build strong relationships with internal departments and external partners, including key suppliers, vendors and customers, to ensure effective cross-functional execution.
- Obtain knowledge and remain abreast on industry trends and relationships.
- Develop and lead the regular forecast process as determined by the company.
- Responsible for the leadership, development, coaching and performance of the management team. Motivate and lead a high-performance team; attract, develop, recruit and retain the required talent. Set the vision and expectations for the senior leaders on the team and for the entire department as it pertains to performance. Hold regular meetings to ensure that each department is operating efficiently, to the required standards and that management policies are implemented and understood.
- Ensure effective engagement strategies are in place at all levels to ensure retention and performance success. Be an integral part of the employee compensation design and strategy.
- Measure and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators and metrics, including top line sales, gross profit and operating profit.
- Promote and foster a culture where safety is expressed as a core value. Drive and support a safety culture striving for zero injuries.
