About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Apprentice, you will support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems while gaining hands-on experience in the field. This role is perfect for motivated, reliable individuals who enjoy problem-solving and working with their hands.
Responsibilities

Assist with installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems

Learn to interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Conduct maintenance service calls and respond to emergency/warranty calls

Complete daily safety documentation and site inspections

Travel to job sites, including opportunities for out-of-state work (occasional overnight stays at job sites may be required)
- Work independently and with a team to complete projects on time
Qualifications

Experience in the low-voltage field (fire alarm experience preferred)

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings (preferred, but not required)

Strong work ethic; self-motivated, reliable, and organized

Effective communication skills; ability to work well with teams, customers, and subcontractors

Proficiency with hand tools and trade-specific equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods

Comfortable working in confined spaces and outdoor environments

Ability to lift and transport up to 70 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles
