State Fire is currently looking for a full-time Fire Sprinkler Apprentice based in Elko, NV . During the Apprenticeship program you will be applying what you learn in the field with actual hands-on experience installing, repairing and maintaining all types of fire sprinkler systems. Your role as a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice will include the following responsibilities :
- Installing, repairing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
- Inspecting systems.
- Reviewing and following plans and drawings.
- Lifting and carrying pipe and fire sprinkler materials.
- Following MSHA and OSHA safety requirements.
- Studying and testing in AFSA program.
- 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts, and on-call, as necessary.
