What You’ll Do:
As a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry experts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
- Inspecting systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Reading and following plans and blueprints.
- Handling and transporting pipes and materials.
- Following MSHA and OSHA safety regulations.
- Completing training and coursework through the AFSA Apprenticeship Program.
- Working 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with occasional on-call duty and overnight travel.
What We’re Looking For:
No experience? No problem. We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Eager to learn and willing to train.
- Mechanically inclined, with experience and comfort working with hand and power tools.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to safety.
- Able to pass a background check, drug screening, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
- Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
