What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Diesel Mechanic position at Interstate Fleet Services?

You'll work from home being on call (no office to report to) and drive to our customers breakdown or work-site locations upon being dispatched to perform emergency repairs on commercial trucks, trailers, etc.
Repairs include but are not limited to no starts, brakes, compressed air systems, tires, electrical repairs, trailer repairs, removing and replacing hydraulic lines, trailer repairs, etc.
You'll also be responsible for communicating with dispatchers & customers throughout the duration of each job assigned to you.

- Must live in or near the Dayton, OH area
- Must have a valid drivers license (NO CDL Required)
- Must have all your own basic hand tools up to 1 in drive.
- At least 1 year of hands on experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Service Tech either in a shop or doing mobile road service. (Recent diesel school graduates welcome to apply.)
- Willing to work on call irregular hours on the roadside in all weather conditions
- Be able to pass a Pre Employment Drug Test and pass all random testing after hire.
- Strong professionalism when dealing with all customers.
