What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at INTERSTATE GROUP LLC?
As the Store Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales, ensuring excellent customer interactions, managing inventory, and overseeing service and warranty operations. You’ll also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team to meet the daily demands of our business. This is a hands-on role that requires operational expertise, including the ability to operate forklifts and Kubota equipment (with training and certification provided).
Ideal candidates should have experience navigating CRM systems to professionally engage customers, as well as a willingness to work with tools and equipment. Quality and safety are top priorities—ensuring proper Pre-Delivery Inspections and maintaining a safe environment are key aspects of this role.
Requirements:
- Proven management experience with strong leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Consultative sales experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Able to operate equipment (forklifts, Kubota, etc.)
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
Training & Development: Selected candidates must be open to remote training during October and November, prior to the store opening. Training will be personalized to meet your needs, ensuring both professional development and a balance with personal commitments.
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 40-45 hours per week
Compensation:
- $60K – $75K per year, including hourly rate, commission, and monthly bonuses.
