Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Planner, you will :
- Create and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOM), and work instructions per customer blueprints and 3D CAD files.
- Develop manufacturing strategies and concepts to meet business objectives and drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that quality, on-time delivery requirements, and manufacturing processes are met.
- Manage tooling requirements from initial planning, to Final Inspection.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing challenges, driving process improvements.
- Review processes and procedures of each project in order to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Realtrac Job Shop software experience is preferred.
Must have experience & knowledge of CNC set-up and machining operations for Production and Tool & Die work.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to schedule tasks, schedule and keep track of work sent to outside services such as Heat Treating, Mag Particle Inspection, Plating and managing Materials.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
