SUMMARY
Ensure compliance of policies and procedures of Interstate and provide training for our operations personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Manage company’s training program to ensure compliance with procedures and policies
- Train all operational employees on company policies and procedures.
- Provide road testing for all certified drivers.
- Train internal and external forklift operators and certify forklift operators.
- Learn installation procedures to teach others.
- Work with quality department on issues and performance standards.
- Conduct job inspections weekly and when violations occur, enter them into the system.
- Verify accuracy of uniform invoices, checking condition of uniforms and reordering when needed. Keep track of back orders to ensure timely responses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Training : when class is in session, instruct students in basic knowledge of the given field. Classes run from 40 hours (1 week) for packers, 80 hours (2 weeks) for mover / helpers and 36 hours (3 days) for summertime help. As the lead instructor, adapt, revise, and create the curriculum.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Make sure that all employees are in uniform every day for operations.
Visit the outside Service Centers weekly for training purposes and uniform checks. Help with any issues the manager may be having.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirement in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint of intermediate level.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related industry experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CDL Class A license.
ISO 9001 : 2008 certificate.
