Seasonal Moving and Packing Specialist

We are looking for motivated Seasonal Moving and Packing Specialists to join the Interstate team from May through August 2025! These temporary full-time summer positions assist our operations team with loading and unloading vehicles containing household goods, office furniture, or other goods in a safe and careful manner.

Responsibilities

• Our seasonal hires will receive training and be expected to properly and safely lift, pack, load, and unload vehicles as required.
• The mover or packer will assist with the inspections of our assigned truck(s) to note any damages, flat/worn tires, fluid levels, and general ability to travel. The mover or packer also assists with the preparation of vehicles to ensure all materials are loaded and any defects or problems are noted.
• Must be able to work full-time and have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be at least 18-years-old.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
