SUMMARY
The Senior Transitions Move Consultant will assist seniors in transitioning from their current residence to a senior living community or assist clients with aging in place. This role involves providing comprehensive support throughout the moving process, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition for seniors and their families.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists and aids the Company in the prompt and efficient handling of the business of the Company.
Consultation : Meet with seniors and their families to assess their needs and preferences for the move.
Planning : Develop a detailed moving plan, including timelines and checklists, tailored to each client's unique situation.
Coordination : Coordinate with moving companies, real estate agents, estate sale companies, junk removal companies and senior living communities to ensure all aspects of the move are managed efficiently.
Downsizing : Assist clients in sorting, organizing, and downsizing their belongings, ensuring cherished items are identified and handled with care.
Packing and Unpacking : Coordinate with operations the packing and unpacking process, ensuring items are packed securely and unpacked in the new residence according to the client's preferences.
Emotional Support : Provide emotional support to seniors and their families during the transition, addressing any concerns and offering reassurance.
Follow-Up : Conduct follow-up visits to ensure clients are settled comfortably in their new homes and address any post-move issues.
Develop lists of prospective customers from reviews of publications, contacts with senior communities and associations, networking groups, estate attorneys, financial planners and real estate agencies.
Work with the marketing team to develop business-line specific collateral and marketing campaigns.
Assists in the identification and collection of prospective customer list, answers customer inquiries for services, and assists with the resolution of customer issues and complaints.
Keeps accurate and detailed records of actions taken.
Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals.

The minimum requirement in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is Beginner Level (Intermediate Level or higher preferred).
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in senior move management, relocation services, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Familiarity with senior living communities and the unique needs of seniors during transitions.
- Certification in senior move management or a related field is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
