Urban Practice is excited to offer an opportunity for an Intern Architect / Urban Designer to kickstart their career with our dynamic team. If you are in a degree program for Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field, and are ready to bring fresh ideas to the table, we want to hear from you!
- Assist in conducting site analysis, research, and data collection to support the design process.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and refine design concepts.
- Contribute to the preparation of drawings, diagrams, and presentations for client and stakeholder meetings.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives and assist in gathering and documenting feedback.
- Learn and apply relevant design software and tools under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Support the team in the development of master plans, site yield studies, site/zoning analysis and conceptual architectural design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or currently enrolled in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field program.
- Strong passion for urban design and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Basic knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced design studio.
