Job Description : We are currently seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for overseeing Golden Valley High School outreach programs, providing coverage during practices and events, and offering training room hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with athletes and possess the skills necessary to prevent, assess, and treat a variety of injuries. Responsibilities :
- Provide coverage during practices and events at local high schools, ensuring the safety and well-being of athletes.
- Assess and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries in accordance with best practices and protocols.
- Develop and implement reconditioning programs to help athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and prevent recurrence.
- Build and maintain working relationships with area schools and industries to provide offsite outreach specialty programs.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital, athletes, parents, coaches, school administration, and supervising physician, coordinating care and referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals.
