Working Lead Tech / Shop Supervisor - Up to $3,500 Sign on Bonus based on experience
Location: Sellersburg IN
Shift: Swing Shift 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Interstate Utility Trailer is seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to start up our brand new SELLERSBURG IN shop. We've been in business for almost 50 years and excited to be expanding to the Sellersburg area. We will have a BRAND NEW state of the art facility

Responsibilities for a Shop Supervisor:
- Lead a team of technicians
- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
- Read job orders.
- Diagnose issues and plan repair procedures
- Follow checklist ensuring all critical parts are examined
- Examine protect guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on Trucks and adjust as needed.
- Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk.
- Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
- Participate in, and utilize to the best of one’s abilities, technical training as assigned by management.
- Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner.
- Ensure guest vehicles are returned as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
- Show the utmost courtesy to all guests, visitors and dealership personnel.
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Adhere to manufacturer’s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.
- Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management.
Qualifications for a Shop Supervisor:
- At least 5 year of Fleet or Dealership experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CDL certification a plus
- Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
- Self-motivated and professional
- Must be able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, Climbing, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
- Reaching with arms and hands
- Lift up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to work independently
