We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Production Supervisor for our Topeka, KS Production location. The Electrical Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading the site team that oversees the production process and ensures the quality and timely completion of Modular and Electrical House Assemblies at our Topeka site. Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary technical resource for the team regarding electrical code and installation best practices.
- Consistently leads and motivates with positive influence that enables the team to contribute towards the effectiveness of achieving goals and project success.
- Coach and mentor all direct reports and cultivate a people development culture.
- Provides frequent hands-on support in the shop to provide guidance and assistance as needed.
- Effectively communicates with appropriate leaders and essential staff on upcoming and current tasks that may have impact on other areas.
- Ensures materials are ready for production and develops production goals for the team.
- Ensures Production team have clear expectations for the workday and workplans for the week.
- Leads safety discussions/safety trainings, enforces safety expectations/policies, and helps coordinate and provide PPE to the team as needed.
- Identifies, develops, documents, and enforces standard processes and production standards.
- Coordinates shipments with the clients and jobsites (i.e., may work in conjunction with Project Managers, Superintendents, etc.), and may assist with rigging skids and/or e-houses.
- Assists with estimating efforts and reviews to ensure satisfactory and timely pricing is delivered for production units.
- Works with Site Project on future projects, design, and material considerations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required and must have base electrical knowledge. Industrial electrical experience helpful, but not required. Valid Journeyman's License preferred but not required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Some travel may be required up to 10%.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical knowledge in the electrical field (including NEC & drawings)
MS Office
PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman license
Experience in manufacturing setting (pre-fab/panel)
Ability to read electrical drawings and/or schematics
Lean methods understanding
Rigging and/or fork-lift experience (in a manufacturing setting)
