Responsibilities
Prosper at Interstates
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writes and revises training materials; evaluates and updates programs as needed.
- Supports outside consultants with training program preparation and administration.
- Administers qualification tests and determines attendee eligibility.
- Prepares and distributes training aids with the Training and Recruiting Manager; manages audiovisual equipment and presentations.
- Develops, writes, and revises training manuals and materials, incorporating course content, visual aids, and multimedia; creates or recommends programs to meet company needs and updates as necessary.
- Implements craft training for field staff, assisting Superintendents with criteria and documentation.
- Coordinates continuing education seminars with Operations.
- Assists in identifying training needs through needs analysis.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Expertise for this Role
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in adult training preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to moderate large groups comfortably.
- Excellent leadership and communication both verbal and written skills.
- Commitment to personal and employee development.
- Advanced proficiency in managing and using databases including spreadsheets, with the ability to create reports and to support insights for decision-making.

Location and Travel
This position and individual will be based out of our Sioux Center, IA, Omaha, NE or Sioux Falls, SD office and the amount of travel will vary according to business requirements, could be up to 20%. This is an in person role not remote.
