At Interstates, our success starts with yours.
- Assist Project Manager and jobsite leadership in managerial and leadership functions on the project
- Assists in planning, organizing, and controlling specific areas of the construction project and service jobs
- Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team that may include:
- Management of Service Calendar
- RFI’s, submittals, meeting minutes and other site communication
- WBS system management with field leadership
- Act as a project analyst to assess project controls information and assist jobsite leadership in problem solving and alternate methods to achieve project success
- Coordinate with estimating and assist with take-offs and other support for change order scope definition and pricing
- Attend client meetings onsite and collaborate with trade contractors
- Prepare information and blank documentation for service jobs
- Work closely with logistics and purchasing team members in the procurement and management of materials and subcontracts
- Promote the Interstates safety culture in all you do—on a daily basis
- This position may also directly supervise and direct other project team members
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to track and organize projects and prioritize work
- Open to continuously adjusting project systems to plan and deliver projects successfully
- Strong team building, interpersonal/verbal/written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of clients, peers, and managers
Education: Bachelor's or associate's degree in electrical engineering/technology, Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, Operation Management, or Construction Management
Travel: Able to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time. This postion is to be based out of our Sioux Center, IA or Sioux Falls, SD office(s).
