Position Purpose: Provide financial and operational reporting and analysis support for the Danville, VA operations.
Principle Accountabilities
- Assist with the preparation of plant financial statements, variances accurately reported and understood weekly/monthly. Complete financial analysis using plant data and have strong understanding how data translates to overall plant performance.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and maintaining internal controls and related documents.
- Monitor the capital planning process, assisting with business case justifications and cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Fixed Asset accounting and maintenance of the Fixed Asset subledger.
- Interface with IPG Shared Services for Corporate and Manufacturing Finance, Payroll, AP, AR, Credit, and Treasury.
- Assistance in the annual budget process.
- Coordination and completion of annual audits.
- Continuous Improvement of processes and activities.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities, as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Five or more years accounting experience in manufacturing setting
- Advance level Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience in Shop Floor and Management Execution Systems (MES)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and manage priorities daily.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented, results driven and conscientious
