Position Purpose: This role involves maintaining, analyzing and producing spreadsheets from our Product Information Management (PIM) system as well as maintaining social media platforms to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve performance. The specialist will collaborate closely with the marketing team to design data-driven initiatives, monitor trends, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. By staying up-to-date with the latest tools and best practices, the Social & Marketing Data Specialist will play a crucial role in helping IPG achieve its marketing objectives and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Principle Accountabilities
- Work with Sales and customers to publish and syndicate product information and digital asset(s) using the PIM and customer provided portals
- Manage all product content including digital assets, technical data, GDSN data, and ERP data.
- Design and manage digital product catalogs in the PIM for IPG and all subsidiaries
- Develop and maintain workflows for product management and marketing to update and maintain product data and digital assets.
- Work with the team to maximize IPG video exposure on social
- Develop and execute social media campaigns for various platforms (across various business units) including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
- Ensure current social media strategy aligns with company goals and values.
- Measure the success of social media campaigns using analytics (HubSpot, Google Analytics).
- Stay on top of current social media trends as well as audience behavior, and competitor activities to evaluate how the company can best participate
- Maintain and update the marketing calendar for all social media content
- Maintain and report on statistical and analytical data for all social platforms and IPG HUB
- Partnering, coordinating and/or collaborating with social media influencers on various platforms
- Make recommendations and test social campaigns, creative ideas, and create lead generation and awareness
- Creating promotional social campaigns; giveaways, promo codes, contests
- Assist with website updates and additions as well as the IPG HUB maintenance when needed
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing required
- Must be analytical, results driven, conscientious and detail oriented.
- Proficient in Excel, HubSpot and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and other social outlets).
- Experience in Salsify, WordPressVIP and Google Analytics preferred
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
