What are the responsibilities and job description for the AOI Operator (2nd Shift) position at Intervala,LLC?
The work schedule of this position is Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am.
(Training will be on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks)
Job Summary & Essential Functions
Ensure printed circuit board assemblies, (PCBAs), are built in accordance with the customer’s configuration and specified workmanship standards
- Utilize output from AOI equipment to assess conformity of PCBAs being built on the SMT line
- Identify persistent manufacturing defects and communicate them to the production coordinator
- Identify program issues related to false calls and communicate them to the production coordinator
- Accurately input defect data into the MES
- Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance inspection skills and knowledge of AOI equipment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to accurately perform visual inspection
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to perform detailed work for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions, job orders, specifications, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Beginner component identification skills
- Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
- Strong decision-making skills utilizing sound judgement and thorough processes
Required Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
