Intervention, Inc., a Colorado non-profit, provides services within the criminal justice system across the state of Colorado including sobriety monitoring (UAs/BAs), electronic monitoring, probation supervision and community corrections.

The Community Connections Center (C3) Client Recovery Specialist assists justice involved clients in connecting with resources to support stability, reduce barriers and foster success. This is a grant funded position.
- Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values, and code of conduct of Intervention and C3.

- Maintain confidentiality of client, company, and program information.
- Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Intervention and C3 values, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and contractual/grant obligations.
- Assess individuals for service needs.
- Assist individuals with navigating the CJ system by connecting them with necessary resources to provide stability and reduce barriers to success.
- Works directly with C3 Partner Agencies involved in the delivery of needed services.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with C3 Partner Agencies to assist and support participants.
- Work with C3 Coordinator to identify gaps in resources and addition of new partner agencies to the C3.
- Assist with development and maintain resource guide.
- Complete all data entry and report tracking, as required.
- Maintain required participant information/files.
- Participate effectively as a team member through communication, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving.
- This job requires meeting with clients within jail(s) and community corrections facilities.
- Travel may be required.
- Attend and participate in required trainings and apply skills and knowledge.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university in Social, Behavioral Science or related field, preferred.
- Two-three years of related experience working with justice involved and human services population required. Experience may replace educational requirements.
- Ideally is bilingual in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated understanding of resources available to assist clients who may be experiencing homelessness, judicial involvement, need resources for mental health, substance use.
- Demonstrated experience in applying Motivational Interviewing skills and techniques, preferred.
- Ability to assess individuals for needs and resources.
- Ability to enter data, generate reports, and utilize variety of software programs and databases.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices of the justice involved population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with staff, stakeholders, partners and with diverse client base.
- Must pass background check and be granted access to required databases.
Location: Lakewood, CO
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm (1/2 hour lunch)
Starting Pay: $25.00/hour
