Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Assistant to join our team at Intex. As an integral part of our production process, you will be responsible for assisting Extrusion Saw Operators in preparing workflow, loading material into heat treat racks, and verifying correct cut lengths using measuring tools.
The ideal candidate will have minimum one year experience in a manufacturing facility, with strong basic safety knowledge and the ability to read tape measures to 1/16" accuracy. Additionally, they must possess excellent attendance and work ethic, as well as reliable transportation. This position requires punctuality and physical ability to perform duties assigned, including extensive standing/walking and continuous lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Assist Extrusion Saw Operators in reviewing work orders and preparing workflow.
- Help load material into heat treat racks and verify correct cut lengths using measuring tools.
- Ensure spacers are properly inserted between layers of extrusion as needed.
- Record proper piece count per rack on production reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to read tape measure to 1/16" accuracy.
- Strong basic safety knowledge preferred.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic essential.
