Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Membership Engagement and Sales Representative will collaborate with the Membership Manager and colleagues on the North American Membership team to serve IAAPA Members within IAAPA’s North American region. The Membership Engagement and Sales Representative will primarily correspond with IAAPA members through phone and email to assist IAAPA members with various types of inquiries including but not limited to: new member inquiries, assistance with renewing IAAPA membership, updates to IAAPA company membership rosters and ensuring IAAPA members receive their full access to membership benefits: access to membership account on IAAPA.org and member pricing at IAAPA events and expos. The Membership Engagement and Sales Representative will oversee programs to recognize IAAPA members. The Membership Engagement and Sales Representative will be responsible for IAAPA North America membership sales including, but not limited to direct sales solicitation, coordination with the marketing team, production, accounting, customer service, and related functions and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist IAAPA Members through phone and email, directing member requests and assisting with relevant system functions: membership password resets, troubleshooting member pricing for IAAPA events, and updates to company membership rosters.
- Coordinate all activities relative to member application processing, reviewing incoming applications inputting new member data into the membership database, invoicing and follow-up with payment information.
- Work with the accounting / finance department regarding membership payments and activation
- Coordinate all activities relative to new member orientation processing including the distribution of orientation letters, membership certificates and cards, and new member kits.
- Coordinate all activities relative to the annual membership renewal campaign, including invoicing and renewal follow-up.
- Recognize important membership anniversaries and milestones.
- Facilitate and coordinate activities relative to the member recognition program.
- Work with the team leaders to facilitate sales and marketing processes as assigned to reach and exceed targeted sales goals. Assist in creating membership marketing campaigns.
- Research and contact new potential membership prospects and foster relationships with existing members.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all membership data files; implements quality control mechanisms; performs data entry and oversees the data entry process; recommends and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines for data entry when necessary
- Develops and produces accurate and timely routine and special reports, and data retrievals as needed
- At IAAPA Expo, supports IAAPA Member Central, the main source of membership assistance for attendees.
Qualifications:
- Detailed understanding of database functions and utilization
- Understanding of data reporting
- Self-starter
- Sales Oriented
- Effective communicator of the written and spoken word
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Knowledge of various database software such as Salesforce or Fonteva preferred
