International Student Recruitment Manager

The Role
As the international Student Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving international student enrolment and enhancing INTO OSU’s global presence. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Recruitment, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment and marketing strategies, cultivating strong relationships with students, alumni, and partners, and delivering exceptional recruitment outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Recruitment (40%)
- Represent INTO OSU at international and domestic fairs, exhibitions, and meetings.
- Engage with students, agents, and regional staff, presenting OSU’s programs and unique opportunities.
- Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from students, agents, and counsellors.
- Analyze data to identify recruitment opportunities and meet enrolment goals.
- Manage recruitment activities and budgets effectively.
Marketing Support (40%)
- Collaborate with OSU students, staff, and faculty to develop compelling marketing content.
- Create and edit brochures, testimonials, videos, and other promotional materials.
- Work with students to generate authentic, impactful content for recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing projects align with INTO North America’s guidelines and deadlines.
On-Campus Event Planning (20%)
- Plan and execute on-campus events for recruiters, educational counsellors, and prospective students.
- Organize multi-day campus visits, tours, and recruitment-focused activities.
- Manage logistics and budgets for events and promotional materials.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in recruitment, marketing, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to develop and execute recruitment and marketing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaboration.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and a passion for international education.
- Event planning experience and attention to detail.
- Eligibility to work in and travel to/from the U.S.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred).
- Experience in international student recruitment or higher education.
- Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce and website platforms like Drupal.
- Experience living, working, or studying outside the U.S.
- Fluency in a second language.
