We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to oversee and manage all Quality Assurance activities at our site. This role involves executing complex and specialized tasks related to developing and administering quality control procedures. The position requires ensuring that all products meet the highest standards, conform to specifications and customer requirements, and maintain certifications and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the operation of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure the effective execution of quality assurance processes in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection teams to resolve design, methods, tooling, costs, and product quality control issues.
- Review and approve raw material certifications and release materials for production as required.
- Supervise critical testing and inspection procedures , coordinating with customers and inspectors to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Investigate quality deviations , develop inspection methods , and improve sampling procedures to optimize quality control processes.
- Work closely with customers to address and resolve complaints related to product quality.
- Certifications & Compliance :
- Maintain and manage AS9100D, ASME, NADCAP , and NUPIC certifications .
- Lead and coordinate audits for quality effectiveness, including procedure, quality system, and product audits.
- Ensure all quality requirements are clearly defined and met, supporting comprehensive quality planning and implementation.
- Process Improvement :
- Implement and maintain all quality systems, facilitating the use of LEAN / Six Sigma and other quality tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Balance prevention, appraisal, and failure costs to optimize product quality at the most efficient cost.
- Customer & Vendor Interaction :
- Serve as the key point of contact for customers and vendors regarding all quality-related topics.
- Develop data-driven solutions that improve product quality, customer responsiveness, and reliability.
