A leading organization in the Manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Quality Leader to drive excellence in quality management, compliance, and continuous improvement. This individual will oversee key quality functions and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams responsible for Receiving & Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Quality Assurance.
- Establish and maintain a quality organization with the authority to detect and address quality, reliability, and process challenges.
- Oversee developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS), including third-party registrations.
- Provide administrative and technical oversight for product conformance, specifications, and process quality measurement.
- Define and implement best practices for quality policies, procedures, and processes.
- Drive compliance through internal and external audits, supplier quality management, and ongoing training initiatives.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to assess and mitigate performance, cost, and schedule impacts related to nonconformances.
- Lead company efforts in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, ensuring systematic evaluation and resolution of quality issues.
- Develop and maintain a supplier qualification program, tracking performance and driving corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor key quality metrics to assess baseline performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison with customers' quality representatives to uphold product integrity and satisfaction.
- Ensure quality records and documentation are maintained for internal and external compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, and supplier quality management.
- Ability to drive quality initiatives while collaborating across functions to support operational goals.
- Experience managing teams and leading process improvements to enhance quality performance.
- Due to government contract requirements and/or security clearance regulations, this position is only open to U.S. citizens
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
